Detox FAQs: Why do we have to add salt to the water?
The electrolysis process requires that an ionized solution complete an electric circuit between two electrodes. Adding salt to the water makes it an ionized solution that conducts electricity, thereby allowing the array to work.
Detox FAQs: How does the array work?
The equipment generates a continuous current. Then the equipment delivers current through the two coiled electrodes built into the “array” depicted on the left. Using the coiled form maximizes the surface area of the conductive surfaces. Next, the passage of the electric current across the water produces ionization. Positively charged ions in the conductive electrolytic solution will move toward the cathode, and negatively charged ions toward the anode. This migration of ions through the electrolytic solution (i.e the water in the foot tub) constitutes the electric current within the foot tub/bath. This migration of electrons to the anode, then back to the cathode via the wiring and the generator, constitutes the current in the remainder of the circuit, external to the foot bath. This flow of electrons is from the negative pole, the cathode, towards the positive pole, the anode.
Ionic Foot Detox FAQs: Can I use the machine every day?
The manufacturer of our equipment recommends that those who want to cleanse their bodies and appear healthy use the detox system twice a week until the water remains fairly clear throughout the detox process. At that time, we recommend decreasing to once a week for 2-4 weeks. If the water remains clear throughout the detox process, we recommend a once-a-month maintenance program.
In some cases, it may be necessary to use the ionic foot bath more often than twice a week. This should only be done under the supervision of a qualified health professional. This professional should be properly trained to use the equipment. For those suffering from illnesses, it will be extremely important to fuel the cleanup process. Again, the guidance of a qualified health professional will be required to ensure that the proper nutritional needs are met. Furthermore, meeting these nutritional needs will prevent fatigue. This will also eliminate lethargy, strokes, death, and more that can occur when this process is not handled properly. As the body releases more toxins, clients experience increased energy and well-being.

Ionic Foot Detox FAQs: How long do the arrays last?
You can expect arrays toted to last approximately 20-30 treatments. The variation is determined by the chemical content and pH of the water used in the foot tub, as well as the client’s toxicity. With less-toxic clients, arrays have lasted up to 50 treatments.
Ionic Foot Detox FAQs: Can I get electrocuted from the array in the water?
The array in the water carries only 2.5 amps, so it is safe for everyone. If, however, you are using the array in a full-size bath, please make sure the control panel is placed a safe distance from the bath water.
Ionic Foot Detox FAQs: Should I use the machine if I am taking medication?
Our research so far has found that narcotics are the only type of medication affected by the use of the detox system. However, if you are worried about your particular type of medication being affected, try taking it after each detox.
If you have a pacemaker, have had a Kidney transplant, are pregnant, or suffer from psychotic episodes or epileptic seizures, our detoxification specialists will not detox you professionally. There is no evidence that the equipment is harmful in these cases. However, it has not been proven that it is not harmful either. In cases such as these, it is better to err on the side of caution.

The equipment comes with plastic bags to cover the foot bath. Each person gets a new plastic bag for their detox. The array is also disinfected with cleaning fluid, so there is no risk of cross-infection when using the detox system, provided it is cleaned, setup, and used properly.
