Working Wonders with Autism Recovery: Patrick’s Autism Journey

Patrick begins his autism recovery journey healing his brain after being diagnosed with autism approximately 10 years ago. In the following video, he gets his first dermal chelation. Yes, removing the heavy metals that can cause symptoms identical to autism can allow some children diagnosed with autism to heal and begin developing as any other child would. This is definitely one of the benefits of the dermal chelation process. When watching the video, did you notice how he spoke in the beginning. Then, did you notice how his speech changed as the detox progressed. All of this at the first detox. Just imagine what will happen as he continues to remove the toxins that are impeding his brain’s ability to function.

ASD: One Month Update:

Patrick has had 12 dermal chelations and takes supplements to support the process. As a result, he is doing better in school. He is also initiating activities such as assisting with loading the dishwasher and bringing in the groceries. He has even begun to think about and make statements about the future. His stimming with his eyes and hands has decreased significantly. He is really progressing through his autism recovery journey!

ASD: Two Month Update:

Patrick turned 12 years old and has now had 24 dermal chelations. Patrick was still having meltdowns that included him injuring himself as a result of throwing himself on the floor whenever his mother leaves the house without him. Normally, when she travels, he spent most of her time away on the floor in autistic meltdowns. His mother went away on a business trip two months after Patrick began our program. Much to his father’s surprise, he did not have a single autistic meltdown. At times, he was obviously saddened as he missed his mother. But, he was able to control his emotions very well.

During his second month on our program, Patrick continues to communicate better. He is now able to hold conversations with those closest to him. Also, he rarely does any stimming with his eyes or hands.

Normally, when Patrick is told that he can play with his tablet at a certain time (6 pm for example), he keeps coming for the tablet and has to be told that it is not that time yet. Not anymore! He is now very aware of time as it passes. He asked his father if he could play with his tablet. His father told him that he could play with it at 6 pm. Patrick went and put the television on a setting that displayed the clock. He would go and check the clock regularly. At exactly 6 pm, he went to his dad and said, “Brad, it is 6 pm. Time for me to play with my tablet!” Yes, his awareness of time and his ability to communicate are progressing quite nicely.

What is Patrick like after 5 months of our autism recovery program?

Autism Recovery: Meet Daniel

Recovering From Autism: Daniel Autism recovery is finally happening for Daniel! He was diagnosed with autism when he was 2 years old. Even with constant coaching from his teacher, he lagged farther and farther behind. In fact, at the age of 10, he had only made it to second grade material. For nearly a decade there was no autism recovery for Daniel.
Daniel’s father, Kevin, became aware of the possibility that heavy metal toxicity could be causing his son’s problems. Kevin began giving Daniel phytoplankton to help remove any heavy metals that may be present. Daniel began to slowly improve. Finally, slow and steady autism recovery began!

Kevin wanted to get a hair analysis to confirm the possibility of heavy metal toxicity, so, he brought Daniel to Optimum Health. The hair analysis showed arsenic toxicity but no mercury. This meant that Daniel did not have significant levels of methylmercury from fish, other types of seafood and etc. Since elemental mercury from amalgams can’t show on a hair analysis because this form of mercury does not get stored in the hair, further investigation was required. After Daniel’s first total body cleanse (a form of dermal chelation therapy), we tested the resulting detox water for mercury. The water had extremely excessive amounts of mercury that had been removed from his little body. Two days later, Daniel became very independent in his studies. As a matter of fact, he got up that morning and logged onto the computer all by himself. Then he did his work and took it to his dad and said,

“Look dad, I just earned gold stars!”

After 4 total body cleanses to lower his mercury and arsenic levels, Daniel started teaching himself. For instance, he was speeding through his course work. He is now able to vie with his brothers for conversations and attention in more age appropriate ways. Also, Daniel stopped stimming most of the time. Most beautiful of all, Daniel is making good eye contact and smiling again!

Autism Recovery: Arrianna, 5 Years Old, USA

Arrianna began making eye contact with her parents after two weeks (2 detoxes). By the fourth week (4 detoxes), she was talking again. She learned the alphabets and the sounds the letters make. In that same weekend, she began reading words. After four months of detoxing, a form of chelation therapy, she began interacting with people regularly. At the seventh month (28 detoxes) she became an empathetic little girl with no symptoms of autism.

Arrianna started school as a normal child in normal classes with no assistance. By the tenth month, her speech had become age appropriate leaving no indication that she was ever autistic. Patrick’s Autism Recovery: A Year of Triumph

Patrick’s autism recovery is a topic that resonates with many families seeking hope and inspiration. He was 10 years old when he started his autism recovery journey. It took him two minutes to read a page from a second grade book. He was constantly throwing himself on the floor in the midst of meltdowns. His family had to constantly guess what he wanted because he could not tell them. Not any more!

Patrick has begun to interact as a teenager should. No more meltdowns. He holds meaningful conversations! He went on a trip to Hawaii for two weeks with his family and most people thought he was just a normal teenager! A few who tried to hold an in-depth conversation with him realized that something wasn’t quite right. However, they never even considered autism! Yes, Patrick’s autism recovery has been a remarkable journey for him, his family and those that know him. Throughout his journey, Patrick’s autism recovery has shown that with the right support, progress is achievable.

As Patrick continues to develop into a teenager, he has begun to get sensitive about the things that teenagers get sensitive about. He is now realizing that he is too old to play with the childish toys that used to bring him so much comfort. Instead of seeking the comfort of a parent, he is doing just as typical teenagers do. His father asked him to come and talk with him and Patrick said, “Nope” and headed out of the room! His father complains, “He is just such a teenager!” Once his father realized the full import of what he had just said, he became so happy. This is truly a huge developmental step in Patrick autism recovery journey!

Patrick’s Autism Recovery: An Overnight Field Trip

Patrick was chosen as the only autistic child to accompany the neurotypical children on an overnight field trip to a camp site that offered skiing. Patrick was there helping the neurotypical children put on their skis! He played games and ate with the other children. We were all prepared for Patrick to insist on returning home when it was time to go to bed. He did not. He stayed overnight without incident.

In the morning he joined everyone for breakfast, again, without incident. Everything went extremely well and Patrick had a lot of fun. However, Patrick says he does not want to go again any time soon! Experiences like these are part of Patrick’s autism recovery, showcasing his growth and his ability to thrive in new environments.

Patrick’s Autism Recovery: Skipping Three Grade Levels

When the coronavirus lead to his school requiring him to home-school, something wonderful happened. His mother began to teach him and found that it only took him 10 minutes to complete the assignments that the school sent for him to do each day. She ask for more and more work for him to do. He was doing nearly all of his work independently. She finally had the school send home enough work to keep him working independently for 4 hours each day. Though he didn’t like it, he fully cooperated. As a result, he went from third grade material to fifth grade material in just two months! He was well along the path of his autism recovery.

His mother gave him a fifth grade book on the solar system to read all by himself. After he read the book, she gave him a review test to complete independently. The 100% that he received indicated his ability to now read independently at the fifth grade level with full comprehension. Yes, he wrote a little sloppy because the lines were missing from the page. However, the second assignment shows off his handwriting a little better!

By September, Patrick had moved forward three grade levels and was able to do the same work that his class was doing. He was able to learn right along with his classmates. His family is now interacting with him more to help his English reach the proper level so that he will no longer need an IEP for school. His progress is a testament to Patrick’s autism recovery program’s effectiveness.

We are just so proud of Patrick!

Patrick’s Autism Recovery: Graduation Day

Patrick graduated in June after a year of much hard work. Once Covid-19 shut down his schools, his mother took over as his teacher administering the work the school sent home for him to do. She found that it only took Patrick minutes to do the whole day’s work. We were all surprised that the school didn’t have him doing more work each day. Patrick’s mother kept asking for more work until the school was sending home enough work to keep him busy for four hours each school day. Patrick did the work independently zooming through grade levels in many courses. Patrick’s autism recovery has led to his remarkable academic achievements.

Just months later, Patrick graduated as the most improved student in his entire graduating class! The teachers were literally tearing up as they presented him with this certificate. They asked his father what he was doing to cause Patrick to progress so much so quickly. For the first time, Patrick’s father made the teachers aware of their participation in Optimum Health’s autism recovery program.

The recognition of Patrick’s autism recovery highlights his hard work and dedication, the support he has received from his family and school along with the effectiveness of Optimum Health’s autism recovery program.

Working Wonders with Autism: What Is Expected Next?

Regardless of their age, most of the children go through the developmental stages that they should have gone through when they were toddlers only 24 – 36 months old. For the autistic child, these stages that they still need to go through are called developmental remnants. As a result of progressing through these developmental remnants, the child becomes happier, more productive and, typically, becomes proud of himself.

As each autistic child is different, there is no way to know how complete the autism recovery process will be for each individual. Fortunately, each step forward is a blessing. We have been awed as we watched Patrick move through those developmental remnants. We are hopeful that it won’t be long before he no longer needs an IEP or other special assistance. Time will tell just how complete Patrick’s autism recovery process will be. As we look to the future, we definitely envision more milestones in Patrick’s Autism Recovery.

A Very Special Thank You

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Patrick and his family for allowing us to share his story. Initially, Patrick’s father wanted to keep all of this private as he has the right to do. However, as soon as he realized the possibilities opening up to his son, he immediately said, “Start recording all of this. The world needs to know that this is possible.” As a result, Patrick’s autism recovery story has inspired many to enter our autism recovery program. To date, every parent inspired by Patrick’s progress has been very pleased with their child’s progress as well. Yes, Patrick’s autism recovery journey is an inspiring story for many families.
